Venerable Dupsing Rinpoche joined the Sojong Retreat at KIBI

Venerable Dupsing Rinpoche, under the auspices of His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje, addressed the students on the eve of the Sojong Retreat at the Karmapa International Institute (KIBI) today.

The Sojong Retreat begins on 28th November and lasts till 4th December and is the culminating week of the one month KIBI Shamatha Course. Rinpoche will lead the retreat rituals and guide the students with practical instructions for the duration of the retreat.

During the talk today, Rinpoche provided a broad overview about the objectives of the Sojong Retreat followed by extensive retreat instructions. At the end of the session, Rinpoche also clarified the doubts of students with a brief Q & A session.

As a matter of great auspiciousness, His Holiness the Gyalwa Karmapa will bestow the Sojong transmissions and provide overall guidance for the retreat.
