KIBS Annual Board Meeting 2026

The Karmapa International Buddhist Society (KIBS) held its Annual Board Meeting 2026 in the presence of His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje. All executive board members attended, and the meeting was conducted successfully and harmoniously.

On this occasion, KIBS offered a mandala to His Holiness, while khatas, certificates, and mementos were presented to the KIBS board members Mr. Satya Narayana Raju, Ven. Skarma Ishey Jungnes, Dr. Tsewang Gyatso Bhutia, Mr. Hari Prakash Maurya, and Rev. Thinley Namgyal in recognition of their ten-year service to the Society.

Furthermore, His Holiness appointed Ven. Dawa Waiba as the overseeing in-charge of KIBI, and Rev. Kantsa Gurung as the new General Secretary of KIBS. We warmly welcome the newly appointed staff and extend our sincere gratitude and best wishes to the outgoing members of KIBI for their valuable contributions.
