Prayers on the Occasion of Venerable Lama Ole’s Passing

With heavy hearts, we received the news earlier today of the passing of Venerable Lama Ole Nydahl, the founding teacher of Diamond Way Buddhism.

The KIBI Sangha has immediately commenced preparations to conduct the Eighth Karmapa Guru Yoga, Five Monlam, and butter lamp offerings tonight, 18 May 2026, at 8:00 pm. We dedicate our prayers to the swift accomplishment of Venerable Lama Ole’s aspirations, as well as his continuous, unceasing enlightened activity for the benefit of innumerable beings.
