How to reach KIBI from the International Airport

Pre-paid Taxi

The simplest and safest way to reach KIBI from the airport is by pre-paid taxi. After leaving the baggage claim area, follow the signs for “Prepaid Taxi.” You’ll find one booth inside the hall and another just outside the terminal. At the counter, purchase a pre-paid ticket and give the destination as:

“Qutab Institutional Area, backside of Katwaria Sarai, near the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT).”

The fare is usually 400 INR (less than 5 EUR/USD). After payment, you’ll receive a receipt – simply hand it to any black-and-yellow taxi driver at the public taxi stand. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Choosing a prepaid taxi helps you avoid overpaying compared to hiring a private driver.

Delhi Metro option (daytime only)

If you are traveling light, you can also take the Delhi Metro Yellow Line to Hauz Khas or Malviya Nagar stations, which are the closest to KIBI. From there, an auto-rickshaw will bring you to the campus for about 50 INR (about 0.50 EUR/USD).
