The Cremation Ceremony of Mahapandita Yongzin Prof. Sempa Dorje la

The Kudung Organizing Committee of the Karmapa International Buddhist Society, New Delhi, wishes to inform all dharma brothers and sisters around the world about the cremation ceremony of Mahapandita Yongzin Prof. Sempa Dorje, who passed into Maha Parinirvana on 9th of July 2022.

All devotees have the opportunity to pay their last respect till 17th of August 2022. A cremation ceremony based on the Four Activities Fire Ritual (jinsek) will then be carried out on 18th of August 2022 (22nd day of the 6th lunar month), 11:15 am, near Karmapa International Buddhist Institute, New Delhi.

We request everyone concerned to make fervent supplication prayers for the fulfilment of Prof. Sempa Dorje’s noble aspirations to accomplish the great purposes of benefiting sentient beings and propagating Buddha dharma for as long as space endures, and that for the sake of all sentient beings his sunlight-like reincarnation may be swiftly born on this planet.
