Karmapa Public Course 2025

Karmapa International Buddhist Institute is a hub for studying Buddhist philosophy as well as for learning about ancient Tibetan Buddhism, which is most precious for all of us. Therefore, we are hosting two big course per year, which are the Karmapa Public Course in March and the Public Meditation Course in December.

This year, our Karmapa Public Course began on 9th of March and will continue on until the 17th. The course commenced with an introduction by Ven. Lama Jampa Thaye la. Then His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche taught on the subject of Buddha Nature. In the late afternoon, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje bestowed the White Tara empowerment to all our participants and local devotees. Today, our program began with Khenpo Lobsang la imparting teachings on the subject of Buddhist Epistemology, with English translation by Khenpo Tashi Woeser la.This year, once again a large number of international participants has gathered, and we, from our side, are very happy to host this course which will be truly helpful for sentient beings.
