All other sessions will be streamed on the KIBI Facebook page and the KIBI YouTube channel.

Public Meditation Course 2023-2024

Dates: December 24, 2023 – January 2, 2024

Dear Dharma friends around the world – Tashi Delek!

It is our pleasure to invite you once again to the annual Public Meditation Course at KIBI. The program will begin with an information session in the afternoon on December 24th, 2023 and conclude with an aspiration prayer the morning of January 2nd, 2024.

Teachers and Teachings

HH Karmapa will give teachings and guide meditation practices throughout the course.

Ven. Drubpon Nyigyam Rinpoche from Sharminub Retreat Centre in Kathmandu will grant us the daily Sojong vows. He will also give us teachings on Shine practice and the first of the four foundations (Refuge & Prostrations).

Further more Ven. Khenpo Tsering Samdrup will teach based on the text of the 3rd Karmapa on Namshe-Yeshe (Distinguishing Consciousness from Wisdom) and Ven. Khenpo Chochok will teach Gyü Lama (Uttaratantra Shastra) one of the Five Treatises of Maitreya.

(If you are doing Sojong for the first time, please attend the afternoon session on December 24th).

The program and schedule will be sent to participants and uploaded onto the KIBI website once finalized.

Accommodation

If you are going to the Mönlam and want to stay at KIBI before your travel to Bodhgaya, please send an email to the Information Centre with the dates: kibihostel@gmail.com.

After the Mönlam, we will not be able to accommodate you unless you are attending the course and registered to stay at KIBI.
