Registration Close for the Karmapa Public Course, 2020

Dear Dharma friends around the world,

We from KIBI wish you all a very happy New Year 2020! May it be a peaceful and prosperous year, full of spiritual growth!

The time has come, once again, to warmly invite you to the annual Karmapa Public Course at KIBI. The course will commence on the morning of Sunday, March 15^th and will end on the evening of Sunday, March 22^nd with the traditional garden dinner.

Teachers and teachings:

KIBI is pleased to announce that HH Karmapa has confirmed that he will grant empowerments and will continue to teach on the 6^th chapter of the Bodhisattvacharyavatara.

Furthermore Khenchen Chodrak Rinpoche will continue his teaching on the history of the Karmapas and the Karma Kagyu Lineage. Trinlay Rinpoche will most probably continue with the introduction to the Preliminaries of Mahamudra. This year he will be teaching on the third Preliminary Practice, the Mandala Offering.

Further updates about the other teachers and topics will follow in the next letter.

Registration for the course:

To register, you are required to fill in an online registration form. Please use the link below and follow the instructions carefully. Registration opens today, on January 21^st .

Beds will be allocated based on the order in which registration forms are received.

Please note that we do not take any reservations prior of time. In a separate email, you can let us know if you are coming with a friend, so we can try to fulfil your wishes concerning the sharing of rooms. However, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your wishes.

Also, this year we will again try to get some rooms at IIFT, our neighboring Institute. In addition, we have prepared a list of hotels, B&B’s, and hostels that we can recommend.
