Closing ceremony of the KIBI Public Meditation Course 2013

KIBI meditation course was successfully completed on the 3^nd of January after the 10 day retreat of Shamatha Meditation with Mahayana Sojong practice.The course also had been thoroughly instructed and guided practice of four foundation. The closing ceremony was held on the last day evening of the course on 2^nd of January. It was presided over by HH. 17^thGyalwa Karmapa, H.E. Jamgon Kontrul Rinpoche, Dupsing Rinpoche and Prof Sempa Dorje(Director of the institute) in gathering of around 180 students of both Monks and lay practitioners. The event was started with Prof Sempa Dorje’s closing speech followed by offering to the course teachers.

Khenpo Mriti, on behalf of KIBI administration, thanked to all organizations and individuals for their kind supports and contributions made towards this course. He also announced various upcoming activities of KIBI in 2014. In the end, HH Gyalwa Karmapa addressed his best wishes to all participants and gave blessings with Kagyu refuge tree poster as gift of the Meditation course.
