Conclusion of the 2019 Karmapa Public Course

Today Monday the 18th the Karmapa public course 2019 came to a close after a fantastic week of teachings from some of our finest teachers here at KIBI.

The morning brought about the final lectures from Ven. Trinley Rinpoche and Khenpo Lobsang.

Shortly after lunch to the all attendees were treated to a brief visit by His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karma Trinle Thaye Dorje accompanied by Thugsey la and Sangyum la and a group photo was taken in the main Gonpa.

Lopon Karma Sherab gave a brief closing speech to thank all the staff, faculty members and voulunteers for all there help and hard work.

Exciting news was relayed to all about the future educational status of KIBI and the new format of study courses to be delivered starting this autumn.

Flowers were presented to His Holiness and Family as well as the teachers and professor Sempa Dorje.

The final afternoon was the Chenrezig empowerment, once again His Holiness took great delight in giving detailed explanations throughout the Wang.

The course was bought to a conclusion with a Gala Dinner attended by all.

The perfect end to a perfect week.
