Alumni Reunion and Homecoming on the occasion of KIBI’s 30th Anniversary

Dear KIBI Alumni,

We are delighted to inform you that KIBI completes 30 years of glorious existence in 2020, adding yet another glorious chapter in the history of Karmapa International Buddhist Institute. To commemorate this 30^th anniversary, we are organizing a three day international seminar, to be held from 5^th to 7^thof February 2020 on the topic of  “An overview of the role of Buddhism and Buddhist Philosophy in the realm of growth and development of International Culture”.

On this historic occasion, we would like to invite you to attend the opening ceremony of the seminar on 5^th of February 2020. Furthermore, we are planning to invite an eminent personality of the Government of India to presideas Chief Guest over the inaugural function. The confirmation is eagerly awaited and will be communicated to you once confirmed.

You have been the backbone of our institution and made KIBI proud since its inception. Therefore, it would be a great joy to welcome you here for this historic occasion. Let us come together to make this event a great success.

Program

All KIBI Alumni are cordially invited to the International Seminar held at KIBI dhukhang from 5^th – 7^th February 2020. Invited are all former students of KIBI who have successfully completed a study program and received their degree from KIBI.

On 8^th February 2020 an Alumni tea gathering will take place in KIBI auditorium.

KIBI will provide full board from 4^th February 2020 to 8^thFebruary 2020.

Unfortunately, accommodation will not be available at KIBI during this time.
